Imagine a situation where a warmblood is virtually born near München, Bayern, Germany. The dam is a hanoverian and the sire is a württemberger.
We have a sim horse register in Finland. Can this foal be registered as any of these: a württemberger, a hanoverian or a bavarian warmblood?

As far as I know it's like you said, only exception are (in fact) Trakehners and Holsteiner (there are some restrictions for Holsteiner)

Good! Hey, could you shortly say something of the Holsteiner restrictions? I'm familiar with the Trakhner rules but never heard Holsteiners had any, so I'd be interested to hear.

I think it has to be 75% Holsteiner at least to get branding in Holstein

It's a bit more complicated. If a foal can be registered in Holsteins studbook depends on the status of the parents. They have to be registered in a certain section of the studbook. I can give you more detailed information tomorow. I need to look it up in my book

Well, luckily we have only one holsteiner registry in Sim Finland, so that fact won't effect very much But I'd be glad to learn more about German warmblood breeding, so be my guest!
