I use them mostly for barrel racing and pole bending. I have a few of them. There is an association for them, over at WWS.

In german they are quiete known, but the competitions where held are on "fun basic" so mostly the horses don't need any education (as it is necessarry for dressage etc). Professional held competitions are very rarely I think.
