Hi, I'm building up a new simulated game called Horselife (I know, very imaginative name...) and I'm searching for people to build it up with me - so I'm searching some more admins than just me :)!
I assume that some of you already know what simulated game means, but cause there might be people who doesn't know - I tell a bit about those games.
So the simulated game is basicly like this:
Players own horses or a stable, they maintain their horse's/stable's website just like normal sim stable's site. There is information about the stable (how many boxes etc.) and ofcourse the horses. Horses have same kind of pages like normal sim horses.
The difference between normal sim stable and stable which is part of simulated game is that simulated game is like whole world - you compete, breed and sell horses in the game, not by crossing horses etc. between normal horses and stuff. There is also very important maintain your stable's finances - you buy food and tack, do vetchecks to your horses etc.
Every game have their own rules about: how many horses you can have, how often you can compete with your horses and suff. Mostly those games have RL aging like 1 year = 1 year but I prefer faster aging system, like 3 RL months = 1 sim year.
And the thing why I'm searching for other people into this project is, that I want to build up a international game with many languages (basicly english - finnish and maybe german/swedish).
Also this project is going to be quite big, so I'm afraid that I can't handle it by myself.
There would be a gamesite (with databases: registers, bank, competition pointsystem) and board (for competions, talking, horse selling, breeding stuff and else). I can handle the databases and other more sever coding so you don't have to have great coding skills. I just need some active people to keep the game up and also people to play it by themselves.
As you can see from my text, I'm not the best english-writer, I'm searching someone with very good english (and also somebody with good german).
If you are intersted and you have time, motivation and ideas for the game please send me mail (hhheikku@gmail.com) or send an introduce yourself. I would like to hear about your sim stable experience (link you stable), your ideas about the game etc. Also please leave your msn or email-address so I can contact.
If someone german guy would be kind and help me with posting this same post into some german board, I would be happy ;)
