Info
The SHI Pony Cup is the own cup for ponies and their owners, held every second month. It takes place on the three last days of the cup month and has two qualifiers and a final. Every other cup is for showjumping, every other for dressage. In both disciplines there are three different levels including one main class.
Showjumping levels: 80cm - 100cm - 120cm (main) Dressage levels: First - Second - Third (main)
The 1st qualifier is open to everyone. From there, half of the participants of all classes will qualify to the 2nd qualifier. It is ridden only amongst the ponies qualified, no new entries are accepted. Again the half or less of participants left will qualify to the final, the maximum amount of finalists in each class is 10.
Once it's time for the final and the ponies compete against each other for victory in their classes, there is also going on a ranking point competition. Every pony which has made its way to the final will get one ranking point. Additionally the top three of each class will get a certain amount of points:
1st - 10pts 2nd - 8pts 3rd - 5pts
In the main classes the amounts of points are larger: 1st - 15pts 2nd - 12pts 3rd - 10pts
With a certain amount of points a pony can earn a specific title to itself to remind of success in the International Pony Cup!

Old enough that it is realistic they have a training for the level they enter. There's no actual age limit, but they should be adult, maybe four years and up : )
