Wow that's an unusual color. I've never seen it anyway. At least not displayed like this. She kinda looks like she's roaning .. but which roan? maybe bay? or grey?

yeah, thought her to be roan too, but usually roans do have a dark face, if I remember right... hm.

I would probably say she's a red roan. Her mane and tail display the chestnut hairs that are typical on the red roan horses.

thanks for your help I found out this specific colour is called marble. Roan coating, no darker head and with darker spots (varnish). Is this right?

She'd be a red varnish roan mare. The term "marble" is just a way of saying varnish roan. Check out this link, it gives some information on the roaning in horses
